Within the hotel, waiters usually work in units of the hotel that provide food and beverage services, such as restaurants, cafes or bars.
1. *Guest Welcoming:* Welcoming guests warmly and introducing them to the hotel's food and beverage services.
2. *Preparation of Tables:* Preparing the tables in an orderly and clean manner, adjusting the table layout according to special requests.
3. *Order Taking:* Taking food and beverage orders from guests accurately and forwarding them to the kitchen or bar section.
4. *Service:* Serving meals and beverages to guests correctly.
5. *Providing Information:* Providing information about the dishes, drinks and special offers on the menu, helping guests and making suggestions.
6. *Table Order:* Keeping tables tidy and clean to ensure the comfort of guests.
7. *Beverage Service:* Serving alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages and informing guests about the beverage options on the menu.
8. *Presenting Accounts:* Presenting invoices and receiving payments by calculating guests' orders.
9. *Guest Satisfaction:* Interacting with guests to ensure their satisfaction, handling complaints and directing them to senior managers when necessary.
