Job description

Housekeeping (cleaning services) is an important department that deals with the cleanliness and order of accommodation units in hotels.

1. *Room Cleaning:* Cleaning the accommodation units, namely the rooms. This includes tasks such as making the bed, dusting, cleaning the floors and cleaning the bathroom.


2. *Changing Bedding:* Changing bedding such as bed sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases at regular intervals.


3. *Bathroom Cleaning:* Cleaning the bathroom and toilets, changing towels and renewing personal care products.


4. *Arranging the items in the rooms:* Organizing the items in the rooms and creating an environment that guests can use easily.


5. *General Area Cleaning:* Ensuring the cleaning of common areas such as the hotel lobby, corridors, elevators, restaurants.


6. *Housekeeping:* To provide housekeeping service to rooms upon request, to meet special requests and to enhance the guest's accommodation experience.


7. *Record Keeping:* Recording information such as room cleaning status, cleaning materials used, and deficiencies.


8. *Resource Management:* Managing cleaning materials and equipment, controlling and renewing material stock.


9. *Communication:* Housekeeping staff must interact positively with guests and communicate with them to address any requests or complaints.


The Housekeeping department maintains high standards of cleanliness in the hotel to ensure the comfort and safety of guests. It also makes a significant contribution to the overall image of the hotel and the guest experience.
